Pre-Insulated Check Valves – Efficient & Ready-to-Install Flow Protection Pre-Insulated Check Valves from Advance are designed to provide reliable backflow prevention while minimizing heat loss and installation effort in HVAC and industrial piping systems. These valves come with factory-applied insulation, eliminating the need for on-site insulation work and ensuring consistent thermal performance. The insulation material used is Polyisocyanurate (PIR) with a density greater than 70 kg/m³, offering excellent thermal efficiency across a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 120°C. The insulation is protected with a durable HDPE cladding, which safeguards against mechanical damage, moisture ingress, and peeling, thereby extending the lifespan of the valve system. Optional aluminium cladding is also available based on project requirements. From a safety standpoint, the insulation meets Class P fire performance standards as per H5476 Part 5, with low flame spread and self-extinguishing properties. This makes the valves suitable for use in critical environments where fire safety is essential. The design ensures that all mounting bolts are fully enclosed within the insulation, while still allowing standard flanges and fasteners to be used without modification. Bolts are tightened directly on the metal flange surface, maintaining proper joint integrity and simplifying installation.
